■ 초록:

자율주행은 지난 10년간 연구개발에 많은 투자가 이루어지고 있고, 가시적인 성과도 많이 이루어지고 있다. 여러 업계에서 본격적인 자율주행에 대한 관심과 연구개발의 시작은 2007년 DARPA Urban Challenge부터라고 할수 있는데, Urban Challenge 대회 우승팀의 경험을 바탕으로, 당시 기술 수준부터 현재 가장 진보된 수준의 레벨3 자율주행의 현황을 알아본다.

In the past 10 years, tremendous investments has been made in Autonomous Driving, leading to tangible results. The interest and plethora of activities in Autonomous Driving R&D across diverse technological field (and societal attention can be credited to the 2007 DARPA Urban Challenge. In this talk, drawing experienced from the winner of the Urban Challenge, technology advancements in Autonomous Driving from DARPA Challenge days to the latest Level 3 features in passenger cars are discussed.
