Our graduate student, Dr. Changwoo Lee(Advisor: In Gwun Jang) has been appointed as an assistant professor of AI Mobility Engineering at Ajou University as of March 1, 2024.

Dr. Changwoo Lee received his Ph.D. from KAIST with a thesis “Optimal Design of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors Considering Maximum Torque Control Strategies.”

He has conducted various research projects related to electric motors and mobility electrification, including the modification of hybrid trucks.

The AI Mobility Engineering Department at Ajou University maintains a strong partnership with KAIST, particularly in the areas of autonomous driving, mobility electrification, and smart transportation.
