In October 2023, Hyunwoong Kim, a PhD candidate in our graduate school(Supervisor: Prof. Seungyoung Ahn) was selected as a semiconductor scholarship recipient in the 18th scholarship program by the Korea Semiconductor Industry Association.

The Korea Semiconductor Industry Association, a subsidiary corporation under the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy, selects semiconductor scholarship recipients annually based on recommendations from semiconductor companies both domestically and internationally.

Hyunwoong Kim, in his PhD program, was recommended by Samsung Electronics and choosen for this year’s scholarship, receiving finalcial support of 10 million won.
