5. Abstract : I will introduce theoretical particle physics by exploring some of the universe’s most compelling puzzles—such as naturalness problems and dark matter—and the efforts to resolve them. Along the way, I will present quantum field theory, the synthesis of quantum mechanics and special relativity, as the central framework of modern particle physics, and highlight the crucial role of symmetry in our pursuit of fundamental laws.
