5. Abstract : Statistical decision making turns uncertain data into actions by quantifying uncertainty with probability, balancing risk and cost, and optimizing choices under real-world constraints. I will briefly outline this framework and summarize my work on nonparametric, model-robust inference, including change-point detection and spatial clustering. I will then show how these tools address mobility problems, such as distribution-shift monitoring and spatiotemporal collision-risk mapping.
