The TUPA Research Lab has been selected to participate in a KRW 5 billion national R&D project focused on advancing world foundation model-based end-to-end autonomous driving technologies.

The project aims to develop next-generation autonomous driving systems through large-scale real-world validation of world foundation models, addressing key challenges in performance, reliability, and scalability for future autonomous mobility.

Prof. Inhi Kim serves as the KAIST Principal Investigator (PI) for the project, which will be conducted in collaboration with VUERON Technology from 2026 to 2030.

Through this project, the TUPA Research Lab will continue its efforts to advance AI-driven mobility technologies and contribute to the development of safe, intelligent, and scalable autonomous driving systems.
