Ph.D. Candidate Changyoung Kim Receives Outstanding Thesis Award from the KSME CAE and Applied Mechanics Division

Changyoung Kim, a Ph.D. candidate at the KAIST Cho Chun Shik Graduate School of Mobility, received the Outstanding Thesis Award from the CAE and Applied Mechanics Division of the Korean Society of Mechanical Engineers.

The awarded thesis is titled “A Linearization Technique to Efficiently Solve Traveling Salesman Problems Without an Origin-Destination Matrix.” The research proposes a linearization technique for more efficiently addressing Traveling Salesman Problems, with a particular focus on an approach that does not rely on an origin-destination matrix.

This award recognizes the originality and academic excellence of Changyoung Kim’s thesis research. We sincerely congratulate him on this achievement and look forward to his continued research contributions.
