The HumanFACTS Lab research team won the Best Application Paper Award at the IEEE ITSC 2025 workshop AIGI-HMM (Integrating Artificial Intelligence and Geospatial Intelligence: Innovative Methods and Applications in Human Mobility Modeling).

The awarded paper is titled “LLM-TripPlanner: A Large-Language-Model-Based Agent for Personalized Trip Planning,” and it was presented in a workshop session at the IEEE International Conference on Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITSC 2025), held in Gold Coast, Australia.
